Custom aluminum profiles

Custom Extrusion

Custom aluminum profiles for architectural and industrial applications, developed from your drawings, physical samples or project requirements. Our engineering team reviews the section design, tolerances and finish before confirming a suitable production approach.

From inquiry to delivery.

Our engineering team reviews profile geometry and tolerances to establish a suitable extrusion process. The six stages below explain how we confirm technical requirements, approve samples and prepare for production.
  1. Share drawings or requirements

Send CAD drawings, 3D models, physical samples or a dimensioned sketch. If drawings are unavailable, describe your application and specifications so our engineers can help prepare the design.
  2. Technical review

Our engineering team reviews the application, profile wall thickness, alloy, surface finish and order quantity to assess extrusion feasibility.
  3. Quotation & die confirmation

Our quotation sets out aluminum, processing and tooling costs. You sign off on the die drawing before new tooling begins. No new die fee applies when a suitable existing die is available.
  4. Sample approval

After extrusion trials, we send samples or provide measurement reports and photos for approval. If changes are needed, the tooling is adjusted or remade and samples are resubmitted.
  5. Batch production

We schedule production after you sign off on the sample and we receive the deposit. Lead time is confirmed based on the final production schedule and order quantity.
  6. Inspection & delivery

Before shipment, we inspect dimensions, surface quality, coating thickness and hardness. We agree on packaging and shipping arrangements with you, and an inspection report accompanies the shipment.

Scope & minimum order quantity

We manufacture hollow sections, shaped solid profiles, multi-chamber window and door profiles, curtain wall mullions and transoms, and heat-sink profiles with closely spaced fins. Long unsupported features, large variations in wall thickness, very thin walls and precision mating features require a drawing review before we confirm die development. We do not currently accept aerospace- or military-grade specialty alloys or small individual retail orders.

How we determine the minimum order

Minimum order quantity is generally assessed by total weight for each profile cross-section and color, in kilograms or metric tons. Orders using existing dies or supplied with a mill finish usually have a lower minimum. For new custom dies, special powder-coating colors, wood-grain transfer or anodizing through a partner, the minimum depends on die size, profile weight per meter and production setup losses. We confirm the applicable minimum for your specification and quantity; there is no single fixed minimum for all projects.

What to provide

For 2D drawings, send DWG, DXF or PDF files. For 3D models, send STEP, STP or IGS files. Identify critical assembly dimensions, key wall thicknesses, special tolerances, alloy and temper, surface finish, visible surfaces, cut length and estimated order quantity. If drawings are unavailable, provide a sample with the complete cross-section, approximately 15–30 cm long or longer. Alternatively, send a clear end-on photo of the cross-section beside a ruler, a dimensioned sketch and an explanation of how the profile fits or connects to other components.

Samples & revisions

Before die manufacture, we issue a formal die drawing with a drawing number and date. Die manufacture begins after customer approval by signature and company stamp, or by a reply from an official company email address. If dimensions change after an extrusion trial, our engineering team revises the drawing and obtains new written approval. The quality team retains the latest approved drawing, color sample and accepted trial sample as the references for bulk-production inspection and release.
